Where we ship
Within Canada only at the moment. We are not shipping to the United States yet. If you are a US brand looking for bulk or private label supply rather than retail treats, get in touch — that is a different conversation and we are happy to have it.

- Standard: $12

- Free standard shipping on orders of $200 or more
- Sampler Box: flat $10
Rates are shown at checkout before you pay. Because treats are sold by the kilogram, a two-protein order usually clears the $200 free-shipping threshold on its own — worth checking before you split an order into two.
How fast
Orders ship from our facility in St. Catharines, Ontario within 2–4 business days. You will get an email with tracking as soon as yours goes out. Delivery time after that depends on the carrier and where you are.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we cannot recover an order delivered to an incorrect address entered at checkout.
Returns and refunds
Because our products are food, we cannot accept returns on opened products. That is a food-safety limit rather than a policy preference.
If your order arrives damaged, or you received the wrong item: email info@niagarafreezedry.ca within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the product and the packaging. Once we have looked at it, we will send a replacement or refund the affected items — whichever you would rather. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

Subscriptions
Subscribe and save 10% on any protein. Subscription deliveries are covered by the same policy above, and you can cancel any time before the next renewal from your account. See the subscription policy for the details.
Storing your treats so they stay crisp
Freeze-dried treats are shelf-stable at room temperature. No freezer, no fridge. The only thing that spoils them is moisture getting back in, so:
- Press the bag seal shut firmly every single time — this is the whole job.
- Keep them in a cool, dry cupboard, not on a windowsill or above the stove.
- Decant a week's worth into a small jar or treat pouch and leave the main bag closed, rather than opening a 1 kg bag twenty times a day.
- Oily fish — salmon and anchovies — holds its smell, so seal those especially well.
The test: a good piece snaps. A piece that bends has picked up moisture. Every batch we pack is water-activity tested on an industrial meter before it leaves the building, which is what makes room-temperature storage work in the first place.
How much should I feed?
